Owl Mask Illustration

I drew the owl, on a dark purple paper that had a lot of texture, using my pastels. The paper was certainly not intended for pastels, but the texture seemed to work to convey the feeling of feathers. We don't have many art supply stores locally, so if I don't want to order something online, I always check out the local big box store that sells craft items.
