Plein Air Pastel

Tried working on some landscapes last week. Went out in the morning with a friend of mine who works in oils and is much more adept at this genre than I am. We set up shop in the parking lot of the local grange where we had ample shade to work in cool comfort. This is a little tiny piece, about 6 inches in length and a size that I was comfortable to start with. We're hoping for good weather to head out on Wednesday.
