The prompt for Illustration Friday is "boundaries". Still life is only limited by what you have on hand to draw. Unlike having a person pose for you and worrying about their attention span or working outside on a landscape where the light is constantly shifting, a still life offers some measure of control. With that in mind, I plan on picking up some new subject matter at my farmer's market this afternoon.

I should try pastels - your illustration is so bright and cheery! patsy
so sunny and lively, I love it! The kind of whirlwind motion of the background blurrs out the boundaries a little ;)
Heisann!
Lovely, fresh cherries, wonderful ;:OD)
So fresh and optimistic! Love the idea of seeking inspiration at the farmer's market- no boundaries for the imagination! :o)
This is just beautiful! I love the colors and patterns! Also wanted to let you know I just had a chance finally to post about the Sunshine Award. Thank you again:)
The detail is amazing in this and I love the visual metaphor for life. My mom has that 'life is a bowl of cherries' attitude and has known no boundaries when it comes to living life head on.
I would have trouble not wanting to eat the subject matter! hahaha! very cool :D
The colors and contrast are so beautiful!
Luscious!!
Beautiful Vicki, love the colour contrast and the movement in the patterned background really focusses your eye on the cherries
