Illustration Friday: Memories

This is my first post in two months.  The summer has been a whirl of activity that I will hate to see come to an end.  When I saw the topic for this week I decided on this pastel since I just hung it in a show this morning and cupcakes always bring back memories of childhood and birthday parties. They are the dessert of nostalgic feelings.
