Illustration Friday: Hoard

Yesterday we went to a "pick your own" farm for strawberries.  It was a beautiful, clear day and the berries looked like rubies beneath the lush leaves.  As we were about to have the berries weighed we estimated that we had about four pounds.  We were surprised to learn that we had picked eight.  It felt as if we were going to "hoard" what we had picked. If we can't eat them all within the next few days we'll have to make jam.  I don't think that will happen.

Not if they look that good, you won't hoard them! Lovely, luscious colour.

This is beautiful! Is it pastels? I really love your work and pastels are one of my favorite mediums.

Senta, Yes they are pastels. I guess I should include that information on my blog. Thanks for your comments!
